It’s a week until the 10k. Today I ran 8k all downhill.
Despite the gradient, I was still chronically slow, that is, except for one moment when I was crossing the road and had to lollop into gazelle mode when a car revved scarily at me.
So, stamina looking tolerable; weight looking a stone over optimum; speed looking pitiful.
My target time is one hour and nine minutes.
So we’ll see…
