Daily Post :”If you could see any music act from history, who would you pick?”
I’d like to pick the musicians from the Titanic and hear them play “Alexander’s Ragtime Band”.
I’d like to hear Nero on his lyre, playing whatever he allegedly played as Rome burned.
The titanic band were dutiful in the extreme, and Nero allegedly neglectful of his duties. But both had the same response to a crisis: play on, as if nothing catastrophic is happening.
In the face of catastrophe, would you pick up a fire-hose, a life jacket or a fiddle?
